Commissions

2 min read
I have had a few inquires about various commissions so I will make some notes here and hopefully that will clear some things up. :)

 Drawings
I don't do a lot of drawn commissions because I am still learning different techniques and anatomy, but since I have time over the summer then yes, they are open. Depending on what you are after, we can discuss a price. :)

Sculptures/charms/pendants
These things take time and money to make. After a few incidents where I went and brought the materials only to find that the client has backed out, I will only start the project once I have been paid in full or at least half depending on the project.

Once I start Uni again, commissions will be closed until christmas. Since it is my last year I will be working a lot, haha. x3

Also, since I am constantly making sculptures and charms to help myself improve, they may be for sale. Just check in the description if it says so or not.

If you have any questions then just send a note my way. :)

Yep yep yep! I now have a etsy shop so you can purchase the pendants I make.

www.etsy.com/shop/Pendantsever…

I am saving up for a mac that would greatly help me with university work, so all the funds made from these pendants will be going towards that.

Please and thanks guys!!!

Well, our oldest cat, Whiskers had to be rushed to the vet a couple of days ago because she had gotten very, very thin and she was very weak. When we got to the emergency vet (Who were very rude by the way), they told us that she was dehydrated and they would need to run a blood test.
I thought this was strange because the only thing she had been doing lately was drinking.
Anyway, after waiting painfully for half an hour, the vet told us that one of her kidneys was failing and the most they could do was to put her on a drip and wait till the morning.

After not sleeping the entire night my mum and I went back to the vet to pick her up and take her to our local PDSA. All through the journey she would purr loudly like nothing was wrong, but you know how cats hide it when they're ill.
As soon as we got to see a vet at the PDSA he had a feel of her kidneys and told us that both of them were very very large and even if her condition improved, she wouldn't last to long.

So, yesterday there was no change but we decided to keep her on the drip a little longer.

Today we had some news that she had improved a little and they were trying to feed her and she was even trying to feed herself.

She is well over 13 years because we had her when she was a stray and was fully grown. She has always been a fighter and has always been very strong willed. I will continue to fight for her as long as she is up for the challenge herself. She maybe just a cat to some people but she is part of the family and my best friend. I will not give up on her, but if it comes to it that she is in pain and it won't get better, then I'll make the choice to end her suffering.

I'll continue to update this journal and I am hoping and praying...

EDIT:

Today at 2:25pm, We made the choice to put Whiskers to sleep. It was the most painful and heartbreaking thing I have had to do. The vet kindly gave me some of her fur and the famous white whisker that made me give her the name 'Whiskers'.

the vet called us this morning and told us to come up at 1:00pm. When we got there and met with the vet he told us that even though she would have good moments and such, the toxin level in her kidneys was sky high. For cats, the maximum should be 10. Whiskers' was 37 at one point and over 100 at another. There was also a possibility that she could have ulcers in her gut.

She was very old so we made the choice to end her pain. He brought her out to us to we could say goodbye and be with her when she went.

I want to thank all the staff at the PDSA who gave her a fighting chance and did all they could for her and us.
The PDSA is a publicly funded veterinary practice and needs the help of the public to continue to aide ill pets. I know exactly which charity I will be raising money for in the next year.

We love you Whisks and you will always be part of this family and never forgotten. <3
